Sony ha annunciato il nome e il prezzo della console portatile che si connette, tramite Wi-Fi, alla PlayStation 5 per farvi giocare ai giochi di ultima generazione in vari ambienti della vostra casa. Arriverà entro fine anno a 219,99€, e non è l'unica novità.

Poteva essere interessante se permetteva di giocare anche FUORI da casa.

“games that are streamed through PlayStation Plus Premium's cloud streaming, are not supported.”

This part is weird, considering the beta update that allows you to stream all kinds of PS5 games to your console in up to 4K quality. Figured that was an extension of allowing streaming to this device.

Guess we’ll hear more later. Also is this only in your house and nowhere else?

Complete guesswork here, but maybe the latency gets too high if you are streaming to the PS5 console, which is then also streaming it out again to the Portal remote-thingamajig?

One cool thing they could do is let you stream directly to the Portal, completely skipping the PS5. That would be a great selling point for their cloud streaming service.

Prodotto idiota e sovrapprezzato, i giocatori hardcore cambiano il controller ogni 6-12 mesi perché dopo un po' si consuma e non risponde piu' in maniera reattiva, qua se devi cambiare gli stick o ti armi di kit di smontaggio e pezzi di ricambio o spendi piu' di 200 euro per comprare un nuovo remote completo.
Tanto valeva fare come Microsoft ed offrire un servizio cloud accessibile da PC o da dispositivo android col controller compatibile.


concordo, tra l'altro già esiste l'app remote play anche se questa dovrebbe (in teoria) essere molto più veloce:

The new PlayStation Link feature, however, is intended to take the Portal a step above any of that hardware. It's a new wireless protocol used by the Portal and the new Pulse devices. Described by the company as "Remote Play turned up to 11," Link allows PlayStation to optimize the connection between the devices and the PS5 since it controls the hardware on both ends, the same way some wireless headsets, mice and keyboards may do via a 2.4GHz dongle.
