LucasArts has denied that the Indiana Jones game demoed way back at E3 2006 has been cancelled.

The speculation surrounding the fate of LucasArts latest Indiana Jones action adventure has resulted in the developer going on record to say the project is still ongoing.

That's despite the Crystal Skull movie coming and going without a game appearing alongside the release - a rather unusual occurrence this days.

"LucasArts remains absolutely committed to the Indiana Jones franchise," a company spokesman told Joystiq. "While we are aware that fans have been eagerly awaiting additional information on the upcoming game, they can rest assured that details are forthcoming."
