Annunciate le nomination per i The Game Awards 2016

A guidare l’edizione di quest’anno ci sarà Uncharted 4: Fine di Un Ladro, in corsa con ben otto nomination in sei differenti categorie, compreso il Gioco dell’Anno. Gli altri candidati per il premio più prestigioso sono Doom, Overwatch, Inside e Titanfall 2.

Varie opportunità si profilano anche per Firewatch, candidato non solo come miglior titolo indipendente ma anche per la componente narrativa e la direzione artistica. Tra i giochi di ruolo la lotta è aperta grazie a concorrenti del calibro di Dark Souls 3, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, l’espansione Blood and Wine di The Witcher 3, World of Warcraft: Legion e Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Le nomination dei The Game Awards 2016 sono state selezionate da una giuria composta da ventinove testate di fama internazionale. Per poter partecipare alla competizione i titoli in lotta devono essere usciti sul mercato entro e non oltre il 24 novembre 2016, ecco perchè troviamo tra i candidati Xenoblade Chronicles X, disponibile dalla fine dello scorso anno. In compenso titoli come Final Fantasy XV e The Last Guardian saranno eventualmente eleggibili nell’edizione 2017.

L’evento si svolgerà l’1 dicembre presso il Microsoft Theater di Los Angeles e, come di consueto, sarà trasmesso in live streaming su varie piattaforme.
